“I must give tell you that our trip was absolutely fabulous! From start to the very end the trip ran like a Swiss watch. Everything was organized to perfection by dmAFRICA. Our hotels and camps were fantastic, with excellent service, delicious food, excellent accommodation and wonderful service. Virtually every person whom we encountered from the minute we landed in Cape Town until they said goodbye to us as JNB, was helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and warm.
------------
I could go on and on and on! I would absolutely recommend dmAFRICA and Orient Express as the way to go.
------------
I must also complement dmAFRICA for their work. They did a great job and we loved our guide Willy.
You get an A+ for your suggestion of Tongabezi Lodge. They had a bubble bath and a candle lit pathway to our outdoor tub waiting for us when we returned from our sunset boat game ride. A very romantic lodge with great service.
I will stop now so you can get back to work. Thanks for your work on the trip. I will be most happy to recommend you and dmAFRICA and orient express as a team to create the best trip we have ever had!”

“We just got back home from Africa and WOW. We had an amazing time.
Your country is unbelievable. I was told that most people come to
Africa for the animals, but they stay because of the people - so true.
Every detail was amazing. Singtia is truly the most spectacular place to be.
Thank you so much for planning our trip.
As I look at the pictures, I realized I need your updated cards and
brochures, because I am sure others will plan a trip after seeing our photos.
Debbie and I WILL be going back to Africa and will call on you again.
Thanks again”

"..I just wanted to thank you for helping us to have the best two weeks of our lives! Africa was incredible. Everything went extremely smooth. The drivers were there and waiting to pick us up every step of the way. The air transferred worked out perfectly.
Sabi Sabi was wonderful. The rangers and all the staff members were so helpful and knowledgeable. The honeymoon suite (Ivory suite) at Selati camp was fabulous. The private land rover that came with it was a nice luxury in that it gave us the opportunity to ask as many questions as we had, to learn on a one on one basis and we really private attention. We had great game drives.
Royal Malewane was the nicest place we have ever stayed in our lives!
The manger there, Edward, was amazing as well as the entire staff.
The place is beautiful. They have a wonderful spa. I can not say enough about the place. The game viewing was incredible. We were only there 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed at least 2 more. It was by far, the best part of the trip.
Cape Town was wonderful. We did the private peninsula tour - great! We also hired a driver one day to take us to Hermanus. The people at Royal Malewane had invited us to their property in Hermanus for lunch. It is called the Birkenhead House - absolutely gorgeous. I cried while we ate lunch because I was overwhelmed by the beauty.
Tongabezi Lodge - what an experience. The place was charming. Victoria Falls was breathtaking (I cried again). We ate lunch on Livingstone Island and went swimming in the falls - exhilarating! Our stay there was fantastic.
Then on to Botswana to Stanley's Camp. It was great.
The people were wonderful. The tents were great. The day with the elephants was fantastic.
Getting to touch the elephants and spend the day with them after fearing them for the previous week and a half was great.
They were so sweet.
So, all in all, a wonderful, fantastic, exhilarating trip. The people went above and beyond to make our stay great. Everyone was so nice. The food was exceptional. I am a very difficult eater (don't eat fish, etc) but everyone was so accommodating and more than happy to make something special for me. That meant a lot to me. The places we stayed were phenomenal. Before I left, you told me I would want to return to Africa, and, you were right - I can't wait to go back!
Thank you so much for helping us plan this wonderful trip.
Again, thank you! "

"Daniel, the trip was very good - your folks at Jo'burg were very efficient, the Kwando camps & staff were excellent at both Kwara and Lagoon though we felt that the game viewing was better at Lagoon (could just have been one
of those things). We saw lots a great game incl Leopard, Wild Dog and all
14 lions in the pride at Lagoon. I think the only thing we'd like to have seen but didn't were Cheetah (and Pangolin of course).
Benguerra Lodge was very nice. Staff extremely helpful and great location for snorkelling etc. Very minor point but you might want to warn newcomers though that some paddling is involved (ie no jetty to climb off straight into boat) on the transfer.
All in all a great holiday - I'll have to start thinking about the next soon!"

"However, to get back to the holiday in South Africa, we had an absolute splendid time. It was all that we had hoped for and indeed in many respects exceeded same. The itinerary worked well and we tried out most of the restaurants that you suggested which were excellent - especially the Blues Restaurant, Cape Colony, Blue Danube and Black Marlin in and around Cape Town. We did find that we ran out of time to do everything here in Cape Town, but that does give us the excuse to go back again!!! It was beautiful at the La Couronne and the breakfast was a sight to behold. We found Haute Cabierrie and La Quartier and enjoyed splendid meals at both. To get to Oudtshoorn, we decided to take the route over the top and along Route 62. Wonderful scenery with quite breath taking views all the way. Rosenhof was equally as good and was greeted with a lovely glass of champagne (shame just one night really) but time pressed and we enjoyed the four night break and rest at Lake Pleasant taking in Knysna to the full (excellent oyster restraunt at the end of the key) and the trip on the Choo-Tjoe train. I think we saw all you had suggested except for the fairy-tale castle. The hotel gave us a splendid champagne trip out on the lake and everyone made us very welcome and were so friendly for our whole stay here. It was quite a long trip to the Riverbend and we arrived about 4p.m., just enough time before the evening safari trip, or so we thought. Unfortunately, deciding to phone the airport to confirm flights back to Cape Town, it was discovered that MY ticket had gone missing from its envelope where everyone else's were kept. I hasten to add that I was not in charge of this envelope and I rather saw the funny side of the situation. It obviously caused slight consternation for a while, but it soon got sorted out after a few 'phone calls and a stiff drink put the smiles back onto our faces. (We think it must have got left at the Budget car rental desk, when he was taking photo copies of everything) So it meant our first trip out was the following morning. Saw so many elephants etc. excellent guide (very knowledgeable, not just about the animals, but also many wider aspects of just where conservation is going, to star constellations!!) The hotel apparently had recently been taken over, and they have great plans to make it into a place of excellence and ***** . We found it very friendly, excellent food, great accommodation and if they can get more people in, they are going to be onto a winner.

All in all, a wonderful trip that just flew by and which has left us with some wonderful happy memories. Our very grateful thanks for all that you did in making it possible for us.

I just spoke with Mr F and this is the most beautiful trip he ever did.
Their guide, Zepharia, was amazing. He knew everything about fauna and flora and had the chance to take part to a Masai ritual, which is apparently very rare.
Many thanks for all of you to have made this trip so memorable for them.

We express our sincere gratitude for arranging for a truly memorable trip to Africa. It was indeed one of the top experiences of our lifetimes, and we've traveled quite a bit. Giraffe Manor still has us smiling; Rwanda ended up being a powerful, moving and enlightening experience, and that was before we even saw the gorillas (which were magical); and the Grumeti Reserve was among the most beautiful and awesome places we have ever been, not to mention the superb quality of the three Singita properties there.
We have already regaled so many of our friends and family with the great stories from our trip, and are recommending the entire itinerary with enthusiasm and without reservation whatsoever.
We are already looking forward to working with you for our next trip to Africa - next time with the kids!
With many, many thanks,
George and Amarie
